The OHS/MHS Act requires organisations to develop programmes or systems to identify hazards, assess and control risks associated with its type of business. Apply the risk management process to a specific organisation in order to minimise safety risk. It has legal meaning and requires an appointee to consider the Safety legislation, the regulations and all other requirements. Appointments must not be regarded as merely a paper exercise, and the forms should include reference to a safety and health systems.
